We are to criticize the argument of detective and detective is speaking in favor of exonerating the burglar.
C is taking a different stand. It says the detective failed to provide a n evidence for blaming burglar but the detective never blames him.
Whereas D talks of flaw in detective's decision to exonerate burglar on the grounds of lacking one evidence as a proof of his innocence
