My Prethinking: Some books of publisher G do not expl hot & cold composting.
any book without basics is flawed, therefore some books of publisher G are flawed.

The argument requires the assumption that
(A) some gardening books that recommend tilling the soil and adding compost before starting a new garden are not flawed
We are concerned about the books published by G and not some gardening books.

(B) gardeners should not add compost to the soil unless they have a thorough understanding of composting
Completely irrelevant
(C) an explanation of the basics of composting must include an explanation of the difference between hot and cold composting
The argument assumes that just because the books of G does not expl about hot & cold composting, it does not explain basics of composting.
(D) everyone who understands the difference between hot and cold composting understands at least the basics of composting
Does not matter to conclusion. Books by G have not mentioned about H&C.
(E) no gardening book that includes an explanation of at least the basics of composting is flawed
restating facts oppositely.

shruthiarvindh, While I understand C is correct, I don't think E restates facts oppositely. Could you explain why you felt so? E basically restates the conclusion. That's why it's wrong, because it doesn't address the assumption.

I believe E is just giving an opposite conclusion and not really providing an assumption; hence, it's wrong.
