To help pick the right option on assumption questions, try negating the answer choices.
(A) Managers and workers know how to use all of the features supported by the latest communications technology.
Negation: Managers and workers don't know how to use all of the features supported by the latest communications technology. Here the phrase 'all of the features' is extreme. May be they know how to use some features but are still better off than previously. Incorrect.
(B) Most businesses plan to upgrade their communications technology in the next six months.
Negation: Most businesses do not plan to upgrade their communications technology in the next six months.
Negating seems not to weaken or void the argument. It may strengthen the argument but definitely is not an assumption on which the argument depends. Incorrect.
(C) The new technology has not contributed to a surplus of unnecessary yet time-consuming correspondence.
