Hi,
What is the type of this question? Inference or assumption or conclusion. Thanks

to logically deduce is to infer, therefore it is an inference question .

I understood the logic behind option D, but isn't option A is suggesting the same thing?
can someone differentiate the two?

Thanks.

See option A is a trap, and we easily tempt this option and mark the answer. Let us take an example :

If you will come office after 9:30 am, you will have to work one hour extra.

Now this doesn't mean that if you come before 9:30 am, you won't have to work extra, may be still, you have to work 60 min extra, may be not. So you can't confirm that if you come before 9:30 am, you will not have to work extra 1 hour. So what you deduce?

You can say with 100% clarity that those who come after 9:30 am, they will have to work 1 hour extra.

This is exactly written in D.

Hope you understand!
