It is certain that at least as many migratory birds fly through Hilden every fall as fly through Paluska.

The conclusion above follows logically from which one of the following statements?

(A) Paluska’s average snowfall exceeds Hilden’s by eight inches. Incorrect

snowfall is irrelevant to argument

(B) Residents of Paluska have been warned not to use bird feeders this fall to avoid spreading a disease diagnosed in dead birds found at a few feeders in Paluska. Incorrect

it says about only last fall

(C) Hilden is the county in which Paluska is located. Correct

in this way birds must be fly through Hilden

(D) More natural predators have been reported in Hilden than in Paluska. Irrelevant

(E) Hilden’s population exceeds Paluska’s population by 25,000. Irrelevant

(A) Paluska’s average snowfall exceeds Hilden’s by eight inches.
Author has not mentioned any relation of snowfall and migratory birds Eliminate

(B) Residents of Paluska have been warned not to use bird feeders this fall to avoid spreading a disease diagnosed in dead birds found at a few feeders in Paluska.
Missing information of Hilden Eliminate

(C) Hilden is the county in which Paluska is located.
This has some logic. Above condition satisfies. KEEP

(D) More natural predators have been reported in Hilden than in Paluska.

(E) Hilden’s population exceeds Paluska’s population by 25,000.

has to be C because if hilden is not in paluska then there's a possibility that this may not happen

(C)

the other options are extreme IMO
