Out of scope.

B. Overly frequent use of internet communication methods can result in an indifference to people towards one's actual surroundings.

This is true in the real world. We do have now amazing tools. However, for the question at stake, this option is wrong

This is not relevant. Nowhere mentioned about profit.

At best, this answer choice does opposite to the task at hand by showing a benefit of Internet communication while we are looking for drawbacks to strengthen a point that it would be a negative implication of internet over face-to-face communication.

In addition, the passage does not concern with money-profit-etc, so in addition this point looks a bit out of the scope.
