A recent study of child psychology conducted at the local university, recorded the responses of children of various ages to a series of questions concerning the brain and the self. Children were asked to indicate whether they or their brain performed certain functions and tasks. The results of the study show that the children were almost unanimous in proclaiming that the brain performed mathematical operations and recollection. However, when asked whether they or their brain loved their mother, the vast majority of responses indicated that the self was responsible.

What a tricky one, totally blew me away. I think the answer to this should be B, here's why:

Not only is too broad to say this (given just 1 exception yet) but also mature understanding is in and of itself very vague.   Eliminate A.

Even the 1 instance/example of mathematical operations that we have is sufficient to logically conclude this statement.

Children answered the questions. Period. We have no way of determining whether they comprehended the meanings of the questions posed or not. Trying to insinuate this forcibly is to comment on the correctness of their answers and is challengeable.   Eliminate C.

How do we know children find mathematical operations undesirable? Maybe they absolutely love it. Just saying that their brain does Maths and not them doesn't mean they dislike Maths.   Eliminate D.

Tries to introduce a foreign/undiscussed concept of immature psychological barriers.   Eliminate E.

Hence, B is our answer.

I dont know why, but whenever i see the reasoning of any cr questions, it looks like people backtrack the solution after seeing the actual answer.

These questions are not making any sense.

I got b but this question seems wrong we cannot comment on what children in general feel from a small sample size unless this is supposed to be a statistically significant method lol.

Hence I chose c because ie was the only one c9gnizant of the fact that we were talking about a selective group of students please fix the question because this is an actual trap that hard medium questions employ

That's how everyone feels and for hard questions it's totally justified to think about why you were wrong by backtracking this is a simple problem that will naturally be solved as you keep attempting questions and build an intuition for the questions and read explanations.

But yeah I have seen my fair share of people randomly saying out of scope for options that very clearly are.
