-> so if fossil fuels become expensive due to heavy penalty, their demand will reduce.
-> hence, if govt does not levy heavy penalties, fossil fuels will remain less expensive than renewable sources, and world will continue to demand them.

W,S,B are alternatives , though more exp, Nuc - waste & disp issue.
Dmd for fossil will exist as primary source for many more decades.
(B) costs of disposing nuclear waste - Will have no direct effect on demand of Fossil fuels.
(C) Ok, demand for alternate had less demand , how will it effect demand for fossil fuels in the coming decades ?
(D) government officials stakeholding has no role in changing the demand for fossil fuels.
(E) Accepted that energy requirements are going to rise , whether at slow pace /fast pace, but what effect will it have on alternate sources of energy.
Must be (A), if penalties are imposed on fossil fuel, people will look for alternate sources of energy, however this option states that there will be no visible change in demand of fossil fuels, hence this has to be our correct Answer.
