The argument says "Orange genre" is trendy in the province of Goop. But the province of Bap produces twice as much box office revenue from this movie genre as province of Goop does.
Now if we pre-think a little about this discrepancy we can easily come up with at least 2 important points:
1. Population size: even if people from Goop love "Orange genre", the overall population of Goop might be significantly less than Bap. So even a small percentage of viewership from Bap might be able to generate larger box revenue.
2. The majority population of Goop might be poor so even if they are interested they are not able to afford to watch films.
Keeping the above points in mind and with an open mind let's dive into the option choices:
A. Goop films in general receive both a warm and a profitable welcome in Bap : This point doesn't help to solve the discrepancy.
B. Movies of the action film genre make twice the amount of money from tickets and related merchandise in Bap that they make in Goop : Ahhhh, easy one- out of context. The action genre is something which we don't know and we don't care.
C. There are twice as many movie theaters offering Film Orange titles in Goop as there are in Bap - This weakens the arguments. Doesn't help to resolve the issue.
D. The population of Bap is 306 million people, while the population of Goop numbers between 60 million and 61 million people : Yep, Now we are talking. The population of Bap is nearly five times that of Goop. This is a strong point as we discussed in point 1. Let's keep this choice.
E. The percentage of people who frequent the cinema more than once a month in Bap and in Goop is roughly the same : This is again not helpful. Easy dump.
Well, D is our choice.

Hi Bunuel and Verbal Admin,
I am so confused on this answer. Not able to justify this answer.
Please take my comment on this and let me know if I am wrong.
Now let us think that population of India is 1.4 billion and Population of Sri Lanka is 10 million. Now let us think one movie in Sri Lanka is super hit. Is there any possibility that just because of the population it would be super hit. I seriously doubt that.
Point 2: Let us in city Goop there are 1000 theatre and in Bap there is 50 theatres, Now I think this is the ans(Correct me). Why?
Now for 1000 theatre, now in this case even if the movie is good, population is spread out and because of this the movie was not double the revenue and in 50 theatre of Baap the population is concentrated and this is the reason the movie is super hit.
Can some one help me on this ?
