Took 3 mins to pull the trigger but eventually got it right.
I was considering between D) and E) but when I reread both V's and J's standpoint (conclusion), I can sum up as these:
V: Programmers must be work as a pair -> "To prevent idiosyncratic code"
J: MOST productive programmers must be allowed to work alone.
For E)
- Two programmers create idiosyncratic code = thus they must need to work in a pair (to prevent it) = Satisfy V's
- Two programmers also are not most productive ("Not unusually productive") = they don't have to work alone (in contrast to "must be allowed") = Satisfy J's
For D)
- Y is MOST productive & M also "very" productive = from here, we can see that Y must be allowed to work alone - to satisfy J's "MOST productive programmers must be allowed to work alone" - but Y is not alone
--> Thus, D is against one of the principles = Pick D)
