As from the stem (below two):  \frac{yz}{zx}=\frac{2}{3}  -->  \frac{y}{x}=\frac{2}{3}  -->  \frac{x}{y}=\frac{3}{2} .

So:  \frac{x^2}{y^2}=(\frac{3}{2})^2=\frac{9}{4} .

Answer: D.

Consider this simple method.

From the given ratio we can write:
xy=k ----eq1
yz=2k ----eq2
zx=3k ----eq3

qtn:x / yz : y / zx = (x / yz)*(zx/y) = (x/2k)*(3k/y)=3x/2y = ?
hence we need x/y to answer the qtn:

eq3/eq2 =x/y= 3k/2k = 3/2 ==> answer = (3/2)^2 = 9/4
