If \(\frac{3}{x} = 2\) and \(\frac{y}{4} = 3\), then \(\frac{(3 + y)}{(x + 4)} =\)

(A) 10/9
(B) 3/2
(C) 20/11
(D) 30/11
(E) 5

So, \(x = \frac{3}{2}\) & \(y = 12\)

Now,\(\frac{(3 + y)}{(x + 4)}\)

Or, \(\frac{3 + 12}{3/2 + 4}\)

Or, \(\frac{15}{11/2}\)

= \(\frac{30}{11}\) , Answer must be (D)

(3 + y)/(x + 4)
(3+12)/(1.5 + 4)

3/x = 2
==> x= 3/2

y/4 = 3
==> y= 3*4=12

Now, (3 + y)/(x + 4) = (3+12)/(3/2 +4)

= 15/(11/2)
=30/11
