If, 5 years ago, Jamie was half as old as he is now, how old will he be in x years?

A. x + 10
B. x + 5
C. x + 2
D. x – 5
E. 2x

the solution is as simple as the question it is

j - 5 = 1/2 (j)

or j = 10

in x years
10 + x

cheers
