Tough and Tricky questions: Coordinate Geometry.

If l1 is parallel to l2, what is x + 2y?

A. 90
B. 120
C. 180
D. 270
E. 360

The shown angles are such that they are supplementary. (Vertically opposite angle of 2x will also have a value of 2x. That angle + 4y = 180). Or Corresponding angle of 4y will make a supplementary pair with 2x)

2x+4y = 180

x+2y =90

Option A is the answer.
