Which of the above lines fit the equation y = − 2x + 2 ?
From the equation we can see that the slope of the line will be -2. The only line on the coordinate plane shown that fits this is Line D. Alternatively, you could plug in numbers. I would suggest solving for the x and y intercepts.
Answer is D.

From the equation of line we can find out x intercept and y intercept of line.
Y = \(MX+C\) = \(− 2x + 2\)
Y Intercept, \(C = 2\) -- value of Y when X = 0
X intercept of line = \(\frac{-C}{M}\)= \(\frac{-2}{-2}\) = 1 ---value of X when Y=0
from X intercept and Y intercept we can find out that line D fits for equation y = − 2x + 2
