Area =9*pi => r=3
Altitude of the triangle = 2r
side * cos 30 = 2r
side * (sqrt (3) /2) = 6
side = 4 * sqrt(3)
area of equilateral triangle = (sqrt(3)/4)*side*side

Altitude of an Equilateral Triangle = (side) * {Square Root of 3} / 2

In the Figure, the Altitude of the Equilateral Triangle = 2 * r --- where r = radius of the Circle

Area of Circle = 9 * pi

thus, r = 3

2*r = 6 = Altitude of Equilateral Triangle = (side) * {Square Root of 3} / 2

Side of the Equilateral Triangle = 4 * {Square Root of 3}

Plugging into the Area of an Equilateral Triangle Formula ----- Area of Triangle = 12 * {Square Root of 3}

Answer C
