(a+b+c+14+15)/5=12
Therefore (a+b+c+29)=60

(a+b+c+29)/4=??
Simply 60/4=15

If average of 5 numbers is 12 then their sum is 12*5 = 60
a+b+c+14+15 = 60
a+b+c = 31
we have to find average of a,b,c and 29
Average = \(\frac{(Sum of entities)}{(# of entities)}\) = \(\frac{(31+29)}{4}\) = 15

Correct Answer - D

An approach: The sum remains the same. Hence 5x was 60, x =12 ; if 4x still equals 60, then x = 15.
