If f(x) = 3x − √x and g(x) = x^2, what is f(g(4))?

A. -4
B. 8
C. 16
D. 32
E. 44

g(x) = x²
g(4) = 4² = 16

So, f(g(4)) = f(16)

f(x) = 3x − √x
So, f(16) = 3(16) − √16

= 48 - 4
= 44
= E

Cheers,
Brent

Cant root 16 = both + 4 or -4?

How can we say that it will be +4 only
