In a certain law firm, Mr. Jones schedules meetings every 15 minutes, Ms. Sollenberg schedules meetings every 20 minutes, and Mrs. Cho schedules meetings every 40 minutes. First Find the LCM of 15mins, 20mins, and 40mins which is 120mins
then we know the meetings will start at the same time every 2 hours
1st meeting is at 9am
2nd at 11am
3rd at 1pm
4th at 3pm
and because it says they wont start a meeting AFTER 5:00pm they will start their last (5th) meeting at 5pm
Answer is 5 (D)

We need to take the LCM of the three times (15, 20 and 40 mins). This is equal to 120 mins.
Therefore every 2 hours=> 9, 11, 1, 3 and 5
