Out of 400, 10% are teachers. Therefore #teachers = 40
100 new people enter therefore total number of people =500
20% of 500 should be teachers = 100 should be teachers but 40 are already teachers.
Hence to increase the percentage of teachers to 20 percent, 60 of the new people should be teachers.
Therefore option E is correct.

let x no of teachers required
40+x = 20% of (400+100)
40+x =100
