Sam can eat 5 sandwiches in 3 hours and David can eat 3 sandwiches in 4 hours. How many sandwiches can they eat in the company of one day?

A. 58
B. 48
C. 29
D. 20
E. 9

Solution-
Number of Sandwiches Sam can eat in a day= 5* 8=40( Since it is given can Sam can eat 5 sandwiches in 3 hours)
Number of Sandwiches David can eat in a day= 3*6=18( Since it is given can David can eat 3 sandwiches in 4 hours)

Total number of Sandwiches both of them can eat in day = 40 + 18= 58
