720 miles per hour
720/60 = 12 miles per minute
12/60 = 0.2 miles per second
for 10 seconds the sound will travel 10*0.2 miles = 2 miles = 2*5280 = 10560 feet
Hence option D is correct

We are given that a sound travels at rate of 720 mph. We need to determine how many feet the sound will travel in 10 seconds. Let’s convert 10 seconds to hours.
10 seconds = 10/3600 = 1/360 hour
Thus, the sound will travel 720 x 1/360 = 2 miles.
Finally, we can convert 2 miles to feet:
2 miles = 2 x 5,280 = 10,560 feet
Answer: D
