Given the three points below, what is the area of the triangle formed by connecting them?

(0,3), (-3,-3), (3,-3)

(A) 4.5
(B) 9
(C) 18
(D) 36
(E) 72

(Ax,Ay)=(0,3)
(Bx,By)=(-3,-3)
(Cx,Cy)=(3,-3)

Area of a triangle = [Ax(By-Cy)+Bx(Cy-Ay)+Cx(Ay-By)]/2
= [0-3*(-3-3)+3*(3+3)]/2
=(18+18)/2 = 18
