Dear Moderator,
Just a thought,
"..............chartered flight with 200 seats is set at $500 for the first 50 tickets sold..." This could be interpreted as that 50 seats together cost 500. Leading to a different answer.
"..............chartered flight with 200 seats is set at $500 for EACH TICKET for the first 50 tickets sold..." This gives the meaning in a more clearer way.
