We can do this question in two ways..
1.As others did
2.Time saving ...We have angle x common
45 is 20 greater than 25...so 180-y must b 20 greater than y
(180-y)-y=20 or y=100
Let me know if u get it !

Let me crrct myself its not 180-y greater than y...it's y is greater than 180-y

So y-(180-y)=20
Y=100

We can create the following equations:

25 + y + x = 180

And

45 + x + 180 - y = 180

45 + x - y = 0

Adding the equations together we have:

70 + 2x = 180

2x = 110

x = 55

Since 45 + x = y, y = 100.

Alternate Solution:

The large triangle’s angle measures sum to 180 degrees. Thus, we have:

25 + 45 + 2x = 180

2x = 110

x = 55

The bottom left triangle’s angle measures sum to 180:

25 + 55 + y = 180

80 + y = 180

y = 100

Answer: D

\(25 + 45 + 2x = 180\)

Or, \(2x = 110\)

So, \(x = 55\)

Hence the value of \(y = 180 - ( 25 + 55 )\)

Or, \(y = 100\) , Answer must be (D)
