A. 24
B. 28
C. 30
D. 35
E. 35.5

\(6 < 3^{rd} Side < 18\)

The two sides 12 and 6 sum to 18. Since the sum of any 2 sides of a triangle must be greater than the third, we see that the third side of the triangle must be greater than 6, and thus the perimeter must be greater than 24. So 24 can’t be the perimeter of the triangle.
