A square is made of a wire has an area of 625 cm2, what is the area of the circle that can be made out of the same wire by stretching the wire?

A. \(\frac{625}{2} \pi\)

B. 625

C. \(125\pi\)

D. \(\frac{2500}{\pi}\)

E. \(625\pi\)

Since the length of wire will remain same,

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of circle

Area of square= 625 m2
=> Side= 25 m
=> Perimeter=4* side= 100

For circle:
2*pi*r=100
r=50/pi

Area= pi*r*r
= 2500/pi

Hence the answer is D

Damn, I misunderstood the question. :|
