It basicall takes 1 second to update 5 data records , thus according to this rate it will take approx 27 seconds to update 8000 data records

Total Work = 8000 pages updation
Rate = 100 pages per 20 seconds
Or 300 pages per minute
Time required to update 8000 pages = Work / Rate
Time = 8000/300 = 26.66 = 27
Hence (B)
