Two points A and B are connected to each other via three paths, as shown in the figure. A person needs to make a round trip from A to B and then back to A, using any of the three paths. What is the ratio of the possible total distances covered, if he never uses the same path for both onward and return journey?

    A. 20: 24: 30
    B. 20: 25: 27
    C. 22: 24: 27
    D. 22: 25: 30
    E. 22: 25: 27

Please correct my understanding, doesn't round trip itself mean returning back. E.g. Round trip from A to B means going from A to B then returning from B to A .

So in this question when it says " Round trip from A to B and then back to A " it makes the wording confusing and redundant.

Simply saying round trip from A to B, is sufficient IMO
