Jenny is supposed to produce 3000 gear shafts in 10 hours.
However, at her current rate, she will do 2500 gear shafts in the next hour.
Therefore, jenny will have to increase her rate by \(\frac{500}{2500} * 100\) or 20%(Option B) to fulfil her current order.

number of gear shafts need to be produced in 10 hrs = 3000
per hr production = 3000 /10 = 300
% change: \(\frac{300 -250}{250}\)*100 = 20%
The best answer is B.
