I like solving this kind of thing by 'scaling up' the ratio, to avoid doing a ton of math.
1 gram in 0.8 liters

10 grams in 8 liters
/8
10/8 grams in 1 liter
*3
30/8 grams in 3 liters
30/8 = 15/4, or answer (D).

We can use the following proportion:
1/(0.8) = n/3
3 = 0.8n
30 = 8n
n = 30/8 = 15/4
Answer: D
