A- Line passes through 1 and parallel to x axis
B- Line passes through 2 and parallel to x axis
C- y axis
D- equation can be satisfied by placing values of co ordinate of line intersecting x and y axis.
E- equation can not be satisfied. Simply looking at slope it can be identified.

A problem that does not take more than 30 seconds if solved using options.
Option 1: y=1
This may seem like the right answer. But the lines around the shaded region are x=1 and x=2.
y=1 is a line parallel to x axis passing through ......(-3,1),(-2,1)(-1,1)(0,1)(1,1),(2,1)(3,1).... etc.
y coordinate will always remain 1
Our shaded region does not represent have a single coordinate that coincides with the line.
Hence out.
Option 2: y=2
y=1 is a line parallel to x axis passing through ......(-3,2),(-2,2)(-1,2)(0,2)(1,2),(2,2)(3,2).... etc.
y coordinate will always remain 2
Our shaded region does not represent have a single coordinate that coincides with the line.

Option 3: x=0
x=0 is a line parallel to y axis passing through ......(0,-3),(0,-2)(0,-1)(0,0)(0,1),(0,2)(0,2).... etc.

Option 4: y = 2/3*x – 2
There is only one line whose equation we do not know which is the line covering the shaded region from the bottom.
From the line's trajectory, substitute one of the coordinates that line coincides with in the above equation and see if the equation is satisfied.
The line coincides with (3,0).
Substituting 3 as x in the above equation we get value of y as 0.
Hence this is our answer.
