Distance = Speed x Time
Car A:
Distance = 140 miles
Time: 3 1/2 hours or 7/2 hours
Speed = 140/7/2 = 40 miles / hr
Car B = Speed of Car A + 30 miles / hr = 70 miles / hr
Therefore, Time = Distance/Speed = 140/70 = 2 hours

Speed of Car A is 140/(7/2) = 40
Speed of Car B is = 70
So, Time required to travel the route will be 140/70 = 2 Hours., Answer must be (B)
