@hiranmary: Can you explain this part "(−1)odd−(−1)odd+1"

If -(-1)^odd+1... Doesn't that make the exponent even?

# Choosing Number
let, n = 1,
k = 1 + 2 = 3
value of the expression is, -1-1 = -2

just to be sure, try another, n = 5
k = 125 + 10 = 135
value of the expression is, -1-1 = -2

Hence, correct answer is A
