m:w=5/1, and total mixture = 66 litres
So, quantity of milk = 55 litres, and quantity of water = 11 litres
Let the required amount of water to be added be x litres.
Therefore, \(\frac{55}{11+x} = \frac{5}{3}\)
Solving the above equation, x = 22
Answer: B

actual qty of water = 11 and milk = 55
so now resultant mix of water in milk ; 3/8
so
added water must have been
11+x/66+x = 3/8
solve for x = 22
