Rationalize all terms by multiplying numerator and denominator by root(an+1)-root(an)

we are left with 1/d*(root(an+1)-root(a1))

an+1 - a1 = n*d

A works

The answer is (A).

Rationalise each term. They'll have a common denominator and except first and the last terms, all other terms will get cancelled. Solution attached.
