The average of two numbers is 2x. If one of the numbers is y, the other number must be:
Average = sum total/no. of units
2x = Total/2
4X = total
If one no. Is Y.
The other number will be =
4x = y + second no.
Second Number = 4x-y
Answer is E

2x = total / 2
total = 4x
