If 20/X is an odd integer, which of the following could X equal?

A. 2/3
B. 1/3
C. 2/5
D. 2/7
E. 4/3

Substituting each option in 20/X

A. 2/3 = 20/(2/3) = 30 not odd
B. 1/3= 20/(1/3) = 60 not odd
C. 2/5 = 20/(2/5) = 50 not odd
D. 2/7 = 20/(2/7) = 70 not odd
E. 4/3 = = 20/(4/3) = 30 odd

Hence, OA: E

Going through options,

A. \(\frac{2}{3}\) = \(\frac{20*3}{2}\) = 30 => Even
B. \(\frac{1}{3}\) = \(\frac{20*3}{1}\) = 60 => Even
C. \(\frac{2}{5}\) = \(\frac{20*5}{2}\) = 50 => Even
D. \(\frac{2}{7}\) = \(\frac{20*7}{2}\) = 70 => Even
E. \(\frac{4}{3}\) = \(\frac{20*3}{4}\) = 15 => Odd

20 = 4*5. To make it odd, we need to divide by 4 to make it odd. Only E fits (division by 4/3 is actually division by 4 and multiplication by 3, since 3 is odd, we are good)
