The number 3/4 is what fraction of its reciprocal?

The number 3/4; =(is); x (what) /(fraction) 3/4(of its reciprocal)

\(\frac{3}{4}= \frac{x}{(3/4)}\)

x= \(\frac{9}{16}\)
Shouldnt it be \(\frac{3}{4}= \frac{x}{(4/3)}\)

and hence the answer resulting to 1

The correct setup is:

x = (3/4)/(4/3) = 9/16.
