Sneh's age is 1/6th of her father's age. Sneh's father's age will be twice of Vimal's age after 10 years. If Vimal's eighth birthday was celebrated 2 years before, then what is Sneh's present age?

A. 8 year

B. 7 year

C. 6 year

D. 5 year

E. 4 year

Let fathers age \(x\) then sneh's age \(\frac{1}{6}x\)

After 10 years fathers age \(x+10\) hence vimal's age after 10 years \(\frac{x+10}{2}\)

Vimal's celebrated 8 b'day 2 years ago so 10+2 years ago Vimal was 8 years old \(\frac{x+10}{2}-12 =8\)

\(\frac{x+10}{2} =20\)

\(x=30\)

Hence sneh's age =\(\frac{1}{6}(30)=5\)

Ans-D

Hope it's clear.
