If the ratio of luxury cars to non-luxury cars is 3 to 2, then 2/5 of cars are non-luxury cars.

If the ratio of four-wheel trucks to two-wheel trucks is 7 to 3, then 3/10 of all trucks are two-wheel trucks.

So, if the ratio of cars to trucks is 3 to 4, the ratio of non-luxury cars to two-wheel trucks is (2/5)(3) to (3/10)(4), or 6/5 to 6/5, or 1 to 1.

The answer is completely independent of the number provided ("there are 108 luxury cars"), so there's no reason to even look at that information.

Great solution IanStewart
To clarify is below line just a coincidence of this particular question only? Could you help clarify? Thanks
