Hey guys,

We are told that the ratio of visitors to a show from the first day to the second day to the third day was 2 : 5 : 13

Whenever given a problem, find the easiest path or the path of least resistance

Let's just assume that the ratio gave the total number of visitors for each day

So the first day there were 2 visitors, the second day there were 5 visitors, and the third day there were 13 visitors

There were 2 + 5 + 13 = 20 visitors total

We are also told the price of entry per visitor on each day

Multiply the price by the number of visitors per day to find the total amount spent per day:

2 * $15 = $30 was spent on the first day
5 * $7.50 = $37.50 was spent on the second day
13 * $2.50 = $32.50 was spent on the third day

$30 + $37.50 + $32.50 = $100 was spent total over the three days

\(\frac{$100}{20} = $5\) was spent on average per visitor over the course of the entire show

The answer is B
