In above circle ratio of measure of arc AB to Arc BC to Arc CA is 2:3:4. What is measure of Angle A?
a)30
b)40
c)60
d)120
e)90

AB = 2x; BC = 3x; CA = 4x
So, perimeter of the circle is: 2x + 3x + 4x = 9x

Apply this formula: [central angle][/360] = [arc length][/circunference]

[central angle][/360] = [3x][/9x]

central angle = 120

But we don't have the Angle A, by formula: Central Angle = 2*Angle A

So, Angle A = 60

ANSWER: C

Thanks for your k....! ;)

Hi. Can you pinpoint what’s the center angle here? Thanks

Posted from my mobile device

You must to asume first the center of the circle, this is among ABC, then from the center you must to make two lines towards B and C, here is the center angle.

I'm trying to post with an image but the the application doesn't allow me.
