Given: \(\sqrt{\frac{6x}{4}}=x\)

Simplify: \(\sqrt{\frac{3x}{2}}=x\)

Square both sides: \((\sqrt{3x/2})^2=x^2\)

Simplify:
\(\frac{3x}{2}=x^2\)
\(\frac{3}{2}=x\)

Answer: B

Please let me know if my approach is correct or not.

1. The product of 6 and a positive number x = [(6x)]

2. is divided by 4 = [(6x/4)]

3. The square root of this value = [√(6x/4)]

4. then equals x = [√(6x/4)] = [x]

Simplifying & Squaring both side.

[√(3x/2)]^2 = [x]^2

3x/2 = x^2

X^2 - (3x/2) = 0

X (X - 3/2) = 0

X = (0, 3/2)

The product of 6 and a positive number x is divided by 4. The square root of this value then equals x. What is the value of x?

(A) \(\frac{9}{4}\)

(B) \(\frac{3}{2}\)

(C) 1

(D) \(\frac{2}{3}\)

(E) \(\frac{4}{9}\)

\(\sqrt{\frac{6x}{4}} = x\)

Or, \(\frac{6x}{4} = x^2\)

Or, \(x = \frac{3}{2}\), Answer will clearly be (B)
