Take smart numbers for the variable related to chess club members .
Let the number of chess members be 5, so members of AV club becomes 3/5 of 5 or 3.
Also, let the number of raffle tickets sold by a chess member be 3, so that sold by AV member becomes 2/3 of 3 or 2.
Total raffle tickets sold = 5*3+2*3 = 21
Raffle tickets sold by AV club members = 2*3 = 6
As a fraction of total, AV members sold \(\frac{6}{21}\) or \frac{2}{7}
