Let's start with the following word equation: distance travelled from town A to town B = distance travelled from town B to town A
Let t = the time (in hours) to drive from town A to town B
So, 6 - t = the time (in hours) to drive from town B to town A [since the TOTAL driving time is 6 hours]
Distance = (rate)(time), so we can plug values into our word equation as follows: (60)(t) = (100)(6 - t)
Expand to get: 60t = 600 - 100t
Add 100t to both sides of the equation: 160t = 600
Solve: t = 600/160 = 60/16 = 15/4 = 3.75 hours = 225 minutes
Answer: C
