Joe drove from town A to town B at a constant speed of 60 kilometers per hour. Upon reaching town B, he immediately turned around and drove back to town A at a constant speed of 100 kilometers per hour. If the entire round trip took 6 hours to complete, how many minutes did it take Joe to drive to town B?
A) 195
B) 210
C) 225
D) 240
E) 255
\(\frac{60*100*6}{(100+60)} = 225\), Answer must be (C) 225

Abhishek009 How did you arrive at this formula? Can you explain sir?

60/100=3/5 ratio of speed
6x60=360 minutes total
360/8 = 45 ( total of ratio 3+5= 8)
3x45 =135
5x45=225

As speed in inversily proportio to time
225 minutes is the time required to travel from A to B
