even if the question is asking about combinations, isnt ABC winning and DE bottom 2 differnet from ADE and BC (coz winning and losing are different

Hi all,
Isn't it should be E?
Top 3 from 8: 8C3*3! (as ABC and BCA is 2 different top 3 from 3 people ABC)
Likewise, Bottom 2 from remaining 5: 5C2 * 2!
=> Total: 8C3*3!*5C2*2! = 6720
