The dial shown is divided into equal-sized segments. At which of the following segments will the arrow be pointing if it is rotated clockwise by 7785 degrees ?

A. 1
B. 2
C. 3
D. 4
E. 5

360/8 = 45 degree for each segment.

7785/45 = 173. The arrow will cover 173 segments.

173/8 = 21 + remainder 5.

So it will make 21 full rotations and 5 segments. 5 segments away from 5 in the clockwise direction is segment 2.
Therefore answer B

answer is Option B
8 segments, each segment is 360/8= 45
7785/45 = 173 ticks
173= 21(8)+5
moving 5 segments clockwise from segment5 ends up at 2nd segment
answer is 2
(I initially did this assuming 7785 ticks and ended up with same answer, I wonder if that makes any difference?)

You lucked out! Consider if it was one more degree (7786). We'd still land on the same number, but one TICK more would put us on 3.
