For 2.5 hours (From 12h to 2h30 pm), (28/100) - (12/100) = 16/100 of the pool is filled.
Therefore, full capacity of the pool will be filled in 2.5*100/16 = 15.625 hours = 15.625*60 minutes = 937.5 minutes
The capacity of the pool = 2*937.5 = 1875 gallons.
Answer (A) is correct.

At 12:00, noon, a pool is \(\frac{3}{25}\) full. It is being filled at a constant rate of 2 gallons per minute. At 2:30 PM, the pool is 28% full. How many gallons does the full pool hold?

A. 1,875

B. 1,925

C. 1,975

D. 2,025

E. 2,075
12% to 28%, or 16% filled up in 2.5 Hours

Thus, in 2.5 hours no of gallons filled up is 2.5*2*60 = 300 gallons fileld up in 2.5 Hours, which represents 16%, so 100% represents 300/16*100 = 1875, Answer will be (A)
