We need to factorize 750, => [quote][/quote]\(5^3 * 2 * 3\)

\(x^3 = 5^3 * 2 * 3 * y^2 \)

So y^2 has to be 2^2 * 3^2;

The least value of xy will occur with least value of y, which is -6,

\(x = 5 * 2 *3 = 30;\)

Hence IMO A

I thought the question was asking the (least possible) value of x*y

I think this question is malformed because the equation can scale infinitely large in either direction. The values of x and y can be 30n^2 and -6n^3 for any value of n=>0 which can make xy approach -inf. GMAT questions will not "what is the minimum value of xy" without it truly being the minimum value for all real numbers (ie one discrete set of x,y that produces a singular minimum value)
